Far From Where?
The project "Far from Where?" marks diametrically opposed points on Earth by way of sculptures, strategically placed following an antipodal system. The sculptures create poles, generating new rotational axes.
El Proyecto -Lejos de donde? marca lugares que se refieren entre sí y definen distancias máximas sobre la Tierra. Las esculturas que marcan los lugares, se localizan siguiendo un sistema antipodico. Las esculturas crean polos generando nuevos ejes de rotación.
A relational net forms an ever-expanding global pattern: the spatial expression of the project.
Una red relacional forma un patron global en expansion que deviene la expresión espacial del proyecto.
The sculptures function as the symbol for the project. They are constructed on the spot, where they function both symbolically and as actual ovens.
Las esculturas funcionan como el signo del proyecto. Se construyen en el lugar y allí funcionan simbólicamente o pueden utilizarse como hornos.
